range hood exhausts at high speed.
Wire the system as shown.
The LinkLogic™ technology was specially designed for select
Broan and BEST ventilation devices to provide control and device
status information over existing power lines in the home. Extra
control wires are not required since compatible ventilation devices
send digital communication messages to each over the same wire
thattheyreceivetheirpower,creatinga“meshnetwork”.
It is not necessary for LinkLogic™ compatible devices to be on
the same circuit or phase to operate since all the electrical wires
in the home are part of the LinkLogic™ communication path. The
“connected” ventilationdeviceswork as acoordinatedsystemto
ensure the home is being ventilated at an optimum, energy efficient
manner.
